Since joining HPA, Jane Crisler has led the firm's historic preservation projects. This includes such projects as the $18 million rehabilitation of historic North High School as well as many other important civic projects.
Prior to joining HPA, Jane, a nationally recognized historic preservation expert, spent more than ten years at the Federal Advisory Council on Historic Preservation which promotes the preservation, enhancement, and productive use of historic properties nationwide, and advises the President and Congress on historic preservation policy. Among other accomplishments, Jane has developed design guidelines for historic districts and developed and taught a training course on Federal historic preservation laws across the country. Jane also has worked on more than twenty K-12 school building projects since joining HPA and completed over 30 Historic Structure Assessments.
