Business Manager Richard (Rick) Getz joined HPA in 2008 and has since transformed many of the firm's accounting and management practices. He was named an Associate of the firm in recognition of his relentless pursuit of increased functional efficiency and effective staff leadership. Rick has streamlined many of the firm's business management practices through a proactive approach. He has simultaneously asked the firm's leadership to look both forward and backwards, reorganizing everything from invoicing and staffing to resource management and project tracking.

Among Rick's initial contributions to the firm growth was an investment in a new project tracking software that allows for a unified analysis of all project variables from staffing to billing, payments and receivables. He has also assumed a leadership role in client and vendor contract negotiations that has reduced overhead and enhanced revenue.

Additionally, Rick has led firm efforts to move toward a paperless office environment by streamlining internal reporting processes, eliminating redundancies and achieving a higher reliance on electronic documentation and archiving.
