10 Winkle Towers

Denver, Colorado (Golden Triangle District)

Completed in 1893 by renowned woodcarver Herman Tenwinkle, this fourplex is a wonderful example of early American western residential architecture. Long in need of restoration, dramatic improvements inside and out enhance the building's architectural details and old world charm. Modern amenities in each units and a rear addition housing bathrooms and laundry areas are complemented by the reuse of original wood trim, rosettes and interior doors.
