Awarded the Second Annual Governor's Award for Historic Preservation in 2004, this historic preservation project resulted from a collaborative financial effort between the Denver Public Schools and the State Historical Fund. A cornerstone of Denver's ethnically diverse Capital Hill neighborhood, the landmark building features intricate architectural details including cupolas, elaborate brickwork, terra cotta and sandstone.
