Sustainable Design
We at Humphries Poli Architects are committed to employing sustainable strategies in the design, implementation and operation of our building designs. We are fully committed to application of design and building techniques that promote reduced energy consumption and decreased environmental footprints for every building we design. These solutions are more than just environmentally conscious; they promote healthy environments and are fiscally responsible to the end users.
Currently 70% of the HPA staff are USGBC LEED Accredited Professionals, with additional staff members in the process of gaining accreditation. Every project undertaken by the firm includes a review of applicable sustainable design strategies at the outset of the design process and then further evaluates the appropriateness of the strategy with respect to immediate and long-term cost savings to the project.
